In March 2025, the Sorbian Institute, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, and the Domowina Niederlausitz Projekt gGmbH organized the transdisciplinary conference “Sorbische Lebenswelten im digitalen Zeitalter” (Sorbian Lifeworlds in the Digital Age) in Cottbus/Chóśebuz. Representatives from academia and practice discussed the opportunities and challenges posed to Sorbian culture by digitization. At the heart of the conference was dialogue, fostered through five thematic panels, a World Café, and an accompanying exhibition.
