This article presents the findings of a pilot study on visitor research at the Wendish Museum in Cottbus/Chóśebuzu. As part of a standardised survey, 71 day visitors were asked about their social background, their reasons for visiting, and their relationship with Sorbian culture. The study forms part of accompanying research for the project “Valorisation of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the German-Slavic Context” and serves as a basis for a strategic dialogue on the valorisation of Sorbian cultural heritage.
